The Ohio Department of Education is requiring two additional vaccines this year. Students in grade 7 are required to have a TDAP, and now also meningitis vaccine. Grade 12 students are now required to have a second dose of meningitis vaccine unless their first dose was administered on or before their sixteenth birthday. To learn more about the Ohio Department of Education's immunization policy for all grades, click here.
PBIS Videos from Media I Students
As part of the District Positive Behavior Intervention and Support program (PBIS), the high school is promoting the characteristics of a model KHS student: Hard working, Open-minded, Respectful, Noble, Engaged and Trustworthy (HORNET). Recently, our Media I class produced some awesome silent movies. In these scenes, students are showing what to do (and sometimes NOT to do) to be a HORNET at KHS. Please click here (for Playlist 1) or here (for Playlist 2) to check out their creations. Also, a special thank you is extended to the Media I teacher, Mr. Brian Harvey, and his students for their work on this video project.
